FCC website, Facebook page and weekly e-news.
FCC was one of the first canoe clubs online in Australia in the mid-1990s. The club Facebook page was first published in 2013.
The weekly e-news has been published for about ten years. The format was changed in 2013, and is now available in HTML or a plain text format. Subscription to e-news is open (not limited to club members)
With the launch of the new website in 2013 the format of the printed newsletter changed. Members will have access to current and up-to-date information and the Communication Committee will have time to work on other projects – not to forget the saving on paper and printing costs! If you do not have access to the internet and would still like to see what is being posted online please put a note in the red information box in the clubhouse and we will post you a hard copy of club stories.
Please note, we will no longer be printing a club newsletter. A selection of stories and news updates from the website will be printed and posted to members ( June and December) who do not have access to the internet.
Any comments regarding the website are always welcome. And remember we encourage all members to submit articles and photographs.
The Facebook page
The club's Facebook page was created in 2013. The is closed and only FCC members can join.
E-news is published every Thursday and provides club information, club events and links back to the website.
