Elena Cementon

And now – thanks to the support of certain FCC members – her passion for paddling has been totally reignited.

Elena has been a member of FCC for over 20 years. Dragonboat teammates lured her to the club, and she was immediately hooked by the beauty and tranquility of the river –the thrill of canoe racing – and also the friendliness of other members.  She maintained her membership through the years of rearing young children, even though she only managed to paddle a few times a year.  And now – thanks to the support of certain FCC members – her passion for paddling has been totally reignited.

She felt that after two decades of benefitting from the club, it was time she gave back a bit of the love – and joined the board!  In her board roles Elena looked after membership and social activities.
