Marg Buck

Marg is an Olympian, having competed for Australia at the Tokyo Olympics. She was a key member of FCC's board of management for many years, including chairing the board during the 1990s.

Marg introduced a generation of paddlers to the delights of kayaking, coaching FCC's beginner and beyond courses until quite recently.

In 2022, we were delighted to award Marg with Life Membership of FCC.

Fairfield Canoe Club owns its own clubhouse on private land. With boat storage at the club, fully equipped change rooms, a huge meeting area and direct access to the Yarra River, all your paddling needs are taken care of at the Fairfield Canoe Club.
