Board of Management

FCC is governed by a Board of Management (BoM), elected by the club members at the Annual General Meeting in September each year.  There are seven members of the BoM, all volunteers.  Each board member takes on one or more areas of responsibility, including:

Chair, Treasurer, Secretary, Membership, Technical (racing and coaching), Boats and racking, Buildings and maintenance, Communications, Social.

Rowan Doyle

Rowan joined FCC after moving into a nearby house in 2009 and has never looked back. He paddled regular Sunday morning coffee runs with David Bevan for a number of years before being introduced to marathon racing - initially in kayaks and more recently in canoes - particularly enjoying competing in doubles with the FCC canoeing mob.

Friendly paddles such as the Goulburn trip two years back and the Banksia St runs are a highlight for Rowan. He joined the board 3 years ago to help give back to the paddling community and also organises FCC’s junior paddling program.
